Running Gait Analysis
Running advice for runners from a runner.
“I cannot thank Alex enough for analysing my running technique so thoroughly and working out how I could improve my technique to get me running again without pain. He really does know what he's talking about and has a wealth of knowledge! Thanks to Alex, I'm hoping to be able to run my first marathon in a few months after having to defer last year due to injury.”

I run on average 6 times a week and since 2019 I have regularly competed in Ultras. Amongst my achievements are completing the Centurion 100M grandslam, GB Ultra 100M grandslam, Winter 100, Arc of Attrition, UTS, 263M self-supported and a 300M FKT all within a 24 month period May 2024- Oct 2025.
From this I have a keen interest in running related injuries, prevention and identifying the reason for injury occurrence in a runner.
Whether you are a barefoot or shod runner there are many factors to consider before the shoe (or lack of) gets the blame. In your follow up appointment all the factors that may be leading you to injury (or not being able to improve your pace/millage) will be explained.
